In April 2025, the state of Saxony-Anhalt launched another call for funding through the Just Transition Fund (JTF) as part of the state initiative \u201cSaxony-Anhalt \u2013 Together for a New European Bauhaus (NEB) #NeueBauh\u00e4usler.\u201d Focus: applied projects related to industrial culture.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the applications received, twelve joint projects<\/strong> were selected as eligible for funding<\/strong>!
The project proposals submitted will now be reviewed for eligibility by the approving authority, Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt (IB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the New European Bauhaus initiative, the state is promoting investment and non-investment projects that serve the public interest in the Central German mining region with links to industrial heritage in the districts of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, Burgenlandkreis, Mansfeld-S\u00fcdharz, Saalekreis, and the city of Halle (Saale). Applications had to be submitted by August 10, 2025, by at least two partners consisting of non-university research institutions, districts, independent cities, municipalities, associations of municipalities, other municipal associations, district development companies, municipal development companies, associations, federations, and foundations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following 12 joint projects comprising 25 sub-projects related to industrial culture were deemed eligible for funding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
