NEB_NETWORK OFFICE on site: Workshop “From thinking to doing”
“A spark is small—yet it can trigger something big,” write the organizers of this year's Silbersalz Festival, symbolically referring to the moment of connection: when ideas ignite, atoms collide, or people engage in conversation. Under the motto “It sparks!” ," this year's Science & Media Festival in Halle (Saale) brings these special moments between science, art, and society to life. It stands for energy, empowerment, fair opportunities for the future, and the power to shape change together – and invites you to five days that inspire reflection, create connections, and let sparks fly.
The program is packed with events ranging from concerts and DJ sets to films, talks, exhibitions, immersive installations, and performances. The NEB_NETZWERKBÜRO will be present at the “Science Market” in the department store, market square (hall), with a booth and a workshop dedicated to NEB_VALUES: BEAUTIFUL. SUSTAINABLE. TOGETHER. “From thinking to doing,” it aims to practice aesthetic sensibility and sharpen perception: "We explore how Bauhaus methods can structure our own actions: thinking, speaking, acting. Inspired by Bauhaus artist Moholy-Nagy, the focus is on ‘learning by doing.’ In the balance game, teams build equilibriums out of simple materials. We sharpen perception, test teamwork, and ask: How can we achieve a balance between aesthetics, inclusion, and sustainability—at NEB and in everyday life?" An invitation for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m., 1 to 2 p.m., and 4 to 5 p.m., duration: approx. 50 minutes. Come! Think! Do!
